Hum

Ooooo – when love comes on, it’s like lightening in a storm that leaves a distant hum.

There was the first one – I went to a party last night. That was the drink date – ooooo, the guys in that place. At the party by the sink, our glasses went “clink” – one in particular, you know I got his digits, yeah.

There was the second one – oooooo.  The drunken makeout date – I took him home. I watched the sun rise through the window from your kitchen floor.

Ooooo – when love comes on, it’s like lightening in a storm that leaves a distant hum.

There was the third one – oh, yeah, we’re going out now. That was the day date – in the daylight. Wandering the Noguchi in a cloud of your patchouli, deedle-e-deedle-e-deedle-e-dee.

There was the fourth one – yeah. That’s when we got it – done. Our deal was sealed, and I knew I’d never lose you, doodle-e-doodle-e-doodle-e-doo – ooooo, I want you.

Oooooo – when love comes on it’s like lightening in a storm that leaves a distant hum.

Ooooo – when love comes on it’s like lightening in a storm…
